Hitting mat: what you get
The hitting mat is the surface you strike from every shot, so joint comfort, how it takes a real tee, and whether it suits your launch monitor all matter.

Planning notes
Launch monitors that sit beside the ball read it from a few inches above the floor, so the unit and the hitting surface need to be at a matching height, and the mat must leave room on the monitor side. Radar units behind the ball and overhead units don't care about mat width.
- Exputt RG EX500D Putting Simulator — beside the ball
- Blue Tees Golf Rainmaker — beside the ball
- Square Golf (Home Edition) — beside the ball
- Square Golf Omni — beside the ball
- SkyTrak ST MAX — beside the ball
- Ernest Sports ES Tour Plus — beside the ball
- SkyTrak+ (ST+) — beside the ball
- Bushnell Golf Launch Pro i (LPi) — beside the ball
For shared left- and right-handed use, a center- or double-hitting mat avoids moving the whole mat. See the left-handed setup guide.
