    Hitting mat: what you get

The hitting mat is the surface you strike from every shot, so joint comfort, how it takes a real tee, and whether it suits your launch monitor all matter.

    Sizes offered

    Size or configurationArea
    SPG-7 Standard (7x7ft)49 sq ft
    SPG-8 X-Large (8x8ft)64 sq ft

    Features the seller lists

    • Durable premium nylon hitting surface
    • SPG-7 Standard
    • SPG-8 X-Large
    • Mat Size: 5' × 5'
    • Mat Weight: 30 lbs
    • Turf: Premium Nylon
    • Net Options: SPG-7 or SPG-8

    Planning notes

Launch monitors that sit beside the ball read it from a few inches above the floor, so the unit and the hitting surface need to be at a matching height, and the mat must leave room on the monitor side. Radar units behind the ball and overhead units don't care about mat width.

For shared left- and right-handed use, a center- or double-hitting mat avoids moving the whole mat. See the left-handed setup guide.
