Simulator enclosure: what you get

An enclosure holds the impact screen and side netting in one frame and catches mishits. Its frame size fixes the minimum room width and height, and the screen shape decides which projector setup fills it cleanly.

FOREference calculationShape = width ÷ height, matched to the nearest standard aspect ratio. A 16:9 projector on a 4:3 screen uses 75% of its frame; the throw calculator shows the distance for your screen.

Planning notes

Plan the room around the frame, then check the projector distance for the screen shape.

CheckRule of thumb
WidthFrame width + about 6 in each side
HeightFrame height + space to assemble; the ceiling must also clear your swing
DepthScreen gap (8–12 in) + 8–10 ft to the ball + about 4.5 ft behind it
ProjectorShort-throw lenses mount about 5–8 ft from a 10–12 ft wide 4:3 screen

Use the room size calculator with your launch monitor to confirm depth.
