A net is the lowest-cost way to hit full shots with a launch monitor at home. The frame footprint and the ball-flight distance your launch monitor needs decide where it goes.

Planning notes
Radar launch monitors behind the ball must see several feet of ball flight before the net stops it; camera units beside or above the ball read it at impact and work with the net close in front.
| Launch monitor type | Where the net can go |
|---|---|
| Radar behind the ball | At least the stated ball-flight distance (often 8 ft) in front of the tee |
| Camera beside or above the ball | As close as the net's safe distance allows |
