Golf net: what you get

A net is the lowest-cost way to hit full shots with a launch monitor at home. The frame footprint and the ball-flight distance your launch monitor needs decide where it goes.

Features the seller lists

  • Size: 8' W × 8' H × 8' D
  • Height with Roof: Approx. 9.5'
  • Weight: 35 lbs

Planning notes

Radar launch monitors behind the ball must see several feet of ball flight before the net stops it; camera units beside or above the ball read it at impact and work with the net close in front.

Launch monitor typeWhere the net can go
Radar behind the ballAt least the stated ball-flight distance (often 8 ft) in front of the tee
Camera beside or above the ballAs close as the net's safe distance allows
