Launch monitor space requirements: every model

The seller's stated space requirement for each model, beside our depth figure calculated the same way for all of them.

The short answer

Radar units behind the ball need the deepest rooms; camera units beside the ball and overhead units read the ball at impact and fit rooms from about 13.5 ft deep. Overhead units add their own ceiling requirement.

FOREference calculationFOREference depth: camera/overhead = 1 ft screen gap + 8–10 ft to the screen + 4.5 ft behind the ball; radar = screen gap + ball flight + distance behind the ball + 1 ft. Method explained.
